As we celebrate Sisterhood Week, the women of the Bible challenge us to put sisterhood into practice. Priscilla shows us how to grow with her through discipleship. Ruth teaches us to show up for her through fellowship. The Shunammite woman demonstrates how to share with her through stewardship. And Deborah reminds us to lift her through leadership.
Biblical sisterhood goes beyond gathering together. It means walking alongside one another, sharing what God has entrusted to us, and helping another woman become who God has called her to be.
So instead of only asking, “Who are my sisters?” ask: “Whose sister am I being?”
